Embroidery

Embroidery process:

The design drawings will be outlined and saved by the computer programs. The needle of the embroidery machine will then be controlled to follow the pattern of lines on the drawings and embroider the same pattern on the cloth.

Please note the following:

1. Logo size:

  (a) If the logo size is too big, the embroidery area which covers the cloth will give a hard texture to the garment, causing discomfort to the person wearing it.

  (b) If the logo size is too small, due to the constraints regarding the thickness of the color thread and needle, the logo might not be clearly seen.

  (c) It is recommended that each character for embroidery, including Chinese and English characters, should have a minimum height of 1cm.

2. The connected threads in the embroidery

During the embroidery process, the color threads penetrate through the entire pattern first, hence there would be the presence of some connected threads between the characters or patterns in the embroidery area.

3. Wrinkles surrounding the embroidery

Sometimes wrinkles might appear near the embroidered area. This is due to the threads are repeatedly embroidered onto the cloth, hence causing the surrounding cloth to be pulled tightly. If the pattern has large size and high density, the wrinkles will become more apparent.

4. The complexity of logo patterns

Certain patterns which are too complicated in terms of color and designs are not suitable for embroidery.
